Roll Over Crash

High Point Fire, alongside Pageland Rescue and Lifeguard EMS, responded to a rollover vehicle crash on Lighthouse Church Rd. Upon arrival, responders discovered a single-vehicle incident where an unrestrained child had been ejected from the vehicle.

Rescue and EMS personnel immediately began assessing and treating the child's condition, while High Point Fire Engines 21 and 11 positioned themselves to block traffic and create a safe working area for responders. High Point Ladder 1 proceeded to the Pageland Airport to establish a landing zone for a medical helicopter.

The child was subsequently airlifted to a trauma center in Charlotte for further treatment. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
