Structure Fire - Conbraco Industries

Pageland, High Point, and Sandhill Fire Departments, together with Lifeguard EMS, responded to a reported fire at Conbraco Industries located on South Pearl St. Pageland Chief Rivers was the first to arrive at the scene and noticed smoke emanating from the roof of the building.

High Point Engines 51 and 11, along with Pageland Engines 1 and 2, quickly arrived on scene. A team of firefighters used a ladder to access the roof and successfully extinguished the fire. Simultaneously, another group of firefighters entered the offices to set up a ventilation fan to facilitate smoke removal.

It was determined that the fire originated from a roofer's torch as roofing contractors were replacing the roof at the time of the incident.
