Chevy Tahoe Fire

The volunteers of High Point Fire District responded to a vehicle fire at 5386 Dudley Rd. Engine 31 arrived to find a Chevy Tahoe with flames coming from both the engine and passenger areas. Firefighters from Engine 31 deployed a hose line to begin extinguishing the fire. They used a halligan bar to open the hood for better access to the engine area. Engine 11 arrived to provide additional water, while Engine 21 provided additional personnel. The vehicle owner reported that the fire started while trying to start the vehicle.
