Woods Fire

2651 Highway 151

The volunteers of High Point Fire District responded to a woods fire at 2651 Highway 151. Engine 21 arrived on the scene to find approximately half an acre of wooded area ablaze, close to three residential homes. Engine 21 deployed a hose line, focusing their efforts on extinguishing the flames nearest to the structures.

Brush 13 arrived and began combating the fire from a nearby power line right-of-way. A fire hydrant conveniently located at the end of the driveway was used for water supply.

At present, the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
