Field Fire

High Point Fire District responded to a report of a field fire threatening nearby structures. Upon arrival, firefighters found approximately one acre of field and grass burning. Brush 13 used its front nozzle to extinguish the fire, while Engine 11 provided water supply. The fire was determined to have started when the property owner burned a cardboard box and wind carried embers into the field.
