Fly-In Event

Pageland Airport - Airport & Hatchery Rd.

The volunteers of High Point Fire District provided standby and fire protection services during a recent fly-in event held at the Pageland Airport. Firefighters staffed Engine 21 and the department’s Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) truck along the runway to ensure safety as a large number of aircraft arrived for the event.

Crews remained on-site throughout the duration of the fly-in, maintaining a presence and readiness to respond. As the event concluded, firefighters once again manned their apparatus to oversee the safe departure of participating aircraft.
