Brush Fire

High Point Fire District responded to a report of a brush and vehicle fire on Mangum School Road. Engine 31 and Engine 51 arrived to find a wind‑driven brush fire spreading toward a residence and a nearby vehicle.

Firefighters from Engine 31 deployed a hoseline and water‑can extinguishers to begin suppressing the fire, while Engine 51 provided additional water to support operations.

The fire was determined to have originated from wind‑driven embers produced by burning household garbage.
