Woods Fire

Tadlock Rd.

Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, Midnight.

High Point Fire District responded to a reported woods fire on Tadlock Rd. Upon arrival, Engine 11 and Brush 23 encountered approximately two acres of actively burning woodland.

Firefighters deployed a hose line from Engine 11, advancing through the woods to reach the head of the fire and halt its progression. Crews then worked to extinguish both the left and right flanks of the blaze, successfully containing the fire.

Engine 21 arrived on scene to provide a sustained water supply. The cause of the fire appears to have been unattented outside burning of household garbage.
