Grass and Brush Fire

High Point Fire District responded to a report of a brush fire on Guess Rd. near Airport Rd. Upon arrival, Engines 21 and 51 found that a fallen power line had ignited a grass and shrubbery fire in front of an apartment complex. Firefighters deployed a hose line from Engine 51 to extinguish the fire.

Lynches River Electric Coop was on scene and soon restored power to the affected area.
