Engine 21 and Brush 23 arrived on scene to find a wind‑driven grass and brush fire advancing toward a residence and an adjacent wood line.

The High Point Fire District responded to a fast moving wind‑driven grass and brush fire burning adjacent to the residence.
Grass Fire Endangers Home
The High Point Fire District responded Thursday afternoon to a reported grass fire on JL Green Lane. Upon arrival, Brush 23 encountered a wind‑driven grass fire threatening a nearby mobile home and extending toward the wood line.
