High Point Fire District responded to a report of a woods fire behind a residence on Lake Terry Rd. Upon arrival, Engine 11 and Brush 23 found the fire advancing through the woods behind the home. Engine 11 advanced a hose line to attack the head and left flank of the fire and followed up with its deck gun to soak the entire area with water. Brush 23 used its front turret to attack the right flank. Engine 21 and Tanker 12 arrived to provide water supply.

Preliminary investigation indicates the fire started from burning house garbage.
