Roll Over Crash

Sunday, February 1, 2026 — 1:42 p.m.

The High Point Fire District, along with Pageland Rescue and Lifeguard EMS, responded Sunday afternoon to a reported vehicle crash on Mangum School Road.

Firefighters arrived on scene five minutes from dispatch and found a pickup truck that had lost control due to snow and ice conditions. The vehicle rolled over and came to rest on its roof. All occupants were able to exit the vehicle prior to the arrival of emergency crews.

Firefighters conducted an initial assessment for injuries and then transferred patient care to rescue and EMS personnel. To ensure a safe working environment for emergency responders and tow operators, Mangum School Road was temporarily closed.

Emergency units remained on scene until the vehicle was secured and the roadway was cleared.
