Scrap Yard Fire

High Point Fire District responded to a reported fire at Carolina Scrap Iron on South Pearl Street. Engines 11 and 21 arrived on scene to find a scrap pile burning. Firefighters deployed a hose line to extinguish the flames. Following suppression, both Engines utilized their deck guns to thoroughly saturate the scrap piles, preventing any risk of reignition.
