Highway 9 near Honeysuckle Ln.

High Point Fire District, with Pageland Rescue and Lifeguard EMS, responded to a reported vehicle crash on Highway 9 near Honeysuckle Ln. Upon arrival, firefighters found a two-car collision, with one vehicle blocking the roadway and the other in a ditch.

Engines 11 and 51 established blocking positions to secure a safe work area for emergency responders. Traffic was redirected onto Maynard Street to minimize congestion. Firefighters, Rescue, and EMS personnel worked to package and transfer patients to awaiting ambulances.

Engine 21 deployed to the Pageland Airport to prepare a landing zone for a medical helicopter to transport one of the injured patients. Following patient transport and completion of the Highway Patrol's investigation, firefighters assisted tow operators by clearing debris from the roadway.
