High Point Fire along with auto aid partners Sandhill, and Ruby Mt.Croghan Fire Departments, responded to a report of a structure fire on Hoover Myers Ln. Upon arrival, High Point Engine 51 and Engine 21 discovered a grass fire threatening a single wide mobile home. The home was filled with smoke from the grass fire but was not burning.

Firefighters deployed a hose line from Engine 21 to extinguish the grass fire and used a ventilation fan to remove smoke from the residence. The incident was traced to a resident burning household garbage, during which an aerosol can exploded and ignited the backyard.
