2025 Fire Safe Community

Monday, July 13, 2026, at 7 p.m.

High Point Fire District announced that it has been recognized as a South Carolina Fire Safe Community for 2025 following the 2026 South Carolina State Firefighters Association Fire-Rescue Conference held in June.

Several High Point firefighters who attended the conference reported back to the department that the district earned the designation through its training efforts and public education activities. The recognition highlights the department’s continued commitment to fire prevention, life safety education, and community risk reduction.

Fire Safe South Carolina recognizes departments that promote consistent fire and life safety education, build community partnerships, and use response data to better understand and reduce local risks. The program was launched in 2017 as a partnership among South Carolina fire service organizations and state fire officials.
