Vehicle Crashed in Woods

High Point Fire District responded to a reported vehicle crash on Dove Sutton Road.

Firefighters arrived to find an SUV had left the roadway, traveled between a power pole and its guide wires, and come to rest in a wooded area. Engine 11 and Engine 51 blocked one lane of Dove Sutton Road and deployed traffic cones to establish a safe work area for emergency responders.

Firefighters assessed and treated the driver at the scene until Lifeguard EMS arrived. The driver was transported to Atrium Union for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
