Roll Over Crash

High Point Fire District responded to a reported vehicle crash on W. Lansford Road.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a pickup truck resting on its side in a ditch near a cornfield. The driver reported that another vehicle was attempting to pass, causing the pickup to move partially onto the grass. The vehicle then lost traction on wet grass and debris, and the truck rolled onto its side.

The driver was evaluated by EMS at the scene and declined further medical treatment.

For the safety of responders, Engine 11 detoured westbound traffic onto Hazel Blakeney Road while Engine 31 detoured eastbound traffic onto Austin Road.
