High Point Fire District firefighters responded to a report of an unknown fire in the area of Liberty Hill Church Road and Henry Funderburk Road.

Crews arrived in the area and observed fire behind nearby homes and buildings. After checking several driveways on Liberty Hill Church Road, Engine 31 located the source of the fire by entering a farm driveway on Henry Funderburk Road.

Firefighters found a skid loader burning and threatening a farm shop and an excavator. Crews deployed one hose line from Engine 31 to knock down the fire, then used a thermal imaging camera to locate and extinguish remaining hot spots. Engine 51 established water supply to support suppression operations. No injuries were reported.
