Vehicle in Ditch
High Point Fire District responded to a reported vehicle crash during a snowstorm at the intersection of Guess Road and Hoover Myers Lane. Upon arrival, firefighters found an SUV that had run off the roadway and become stuck in a ditch.

The High Point Fire District responded to a report of a grass fire on Hoover Myers Ln. The incident began when windblown embers from a homeowner’s barrel of burning household garbage ignited nearby grass, causing the fire to spread rapidly across the driveway and into adjacent woods.
