Woods Fire

High Point Fire District responded to a report of a woods fire behind a shed on Yellow Branch Rd. Upon arrival, Engine 31 found the woods burning and quickly deployed its deck gun to suppress the main body of the fire. Brush 13 arrived shortly after and used a hose line to fully extinguish the remaining flames and wet down the perimeter to prevent further spread.

It was determined that wind had blown embers from a burn pile into the woods, igniting the blaze.
