Overturned Simi Truck - Chemical Spill

High Point Fire District responded Friday afternoon to the report of an overturned semi-truck with a trapped driver. Upon arrival, Engine 51 determined that the driver had exited the vehicle. The driver was evaluated by Lifeguard EMS but declined transport to the hospital.
Simi Truck Crash
Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 1:20 p.m.
High Point Fire District responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer at the intersection of U.S. 601 and Dove Sutton Road. Upon arrival, Engine 11 found that the tractor-trailer had jackknifed, blocking multiple lanes of U.S. 601.

The High Point Fire District responded to a grass and debris fire, initially reported as a commercial vehicle fire, at the intersection of Dudley Road and McManus Road
Tractor Trailer Fire

High Point Fire responded to a report of a tractor-trailer fire on Flint Ridge Church Road. Engine 41 arrived to find a trailer loaded with hay burning beneath a power line. The driver had successfully pulled the tractor away before the fire could spread to the cab.
