High Point Fire District responded to a report of a woods fire behind a residence on Landsford Road. Brush 13 arrived on scene to find a small but fire spreading through the wooded area.

Firefighters deployed a hose line from Brush 13 and utilized hand tools to contain and extinguish the fire. The fire was determined to have originated from a controlled burn that had unintentionally spread beyond its intended boundaries.
