Grass and Brush Fire

High Point Fire District responded to a report of a brush fire on Guess Rd. near Airport Rd. Upon arrival, Engines 21 and 51 found that a fallen power line had ignited a grass and shrubbery fire in front of an apartment complex.
Woods Fire
High Point Fire District responded to a report of a woods fire behind a shed on Yellow Branch Rd. Upon arrival, Engine 31 found the woods burning and quickly deployed its deck gun to suppress the main body of the fire.

High Point Fire District responded to a report of a field fire threatening nearby structures. Upon arrival, firefighters found approximately one acre of field and grass burning.
