High Point Fire District responded to a reported vehicle crash on W. Lansford Road.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a pickup truck resting on its side in a ditch near a cornfield.

Firefighters arrived to find an SUV had left the roadway, traveled between a power pole and its guide wires, and come to rest in a wooded area.

New Hurst “Jaws of Life” Tools

High Point Fire District has taken delivery of its fourth set of Hurst “Jaws of Life” rescue tools, strengthening the department’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to vehicle extrications and other emergency rescue situations.
